Becoming an employer is a very serious and important undertaking. An employer must be willing and able to hire, train and supervise employees, along with making sure that all related paperwork is completed. The role ARIS Solutions plays as the payroll agent for the employer is entirely dependent upon the employer’s ability to help comply with State and Federal regulations and requirements. As an employer, you are responsible for hiring staff, assigning their work, and, ultimately, for assuring that they are paid in a timely manner in keeping with Department of Labor standards. Staff at ARIS Solutions are available to provide support and assistance to help you meet this very important responsibility. Please feel free to call our office and speak with a Payroll Support Representative about any questions or concerns you may have. We encourage you to take time to review the Employer Handbook before you get started with the process of becoming an employer. The handbook will outline all of your responsibilities as well as provide instructions for the paperwork you will need to complete. To find an Employer Handbook please go to the left of this page and click on the program you are involved with. Once you have reviewed the handbook, you are ready to start. There are four separate components which must be completed and submitted in order for ARIS Solutions to have the legal ability to begin to provide payroll for your employees. These include the following: As an employer, you are responsible for assuring that Nos. 1, 2 and 3 are completed and sent to ARIS Solutions. The funding source or agency you are working with is responsible to send the Consumer budget authorization (No. 4). Please understand that unless all four of these components are complete and have been received by ARIS Solutions, payroll cannot be issued for your employees. All forms (except for the Consumer budget authorization) are available on this website in downloadable format. Employer and employee forms are pre-highlighted to assist you in completion. All areas highlighted in pink require the employer to complete. All areas highlighted in yellow require the employee to complete. If you need a copy of the Adobe Reader you can download it free over the Internet. |
